Salisbury, MA - Dale Jason Forget, age 51, of Salisbury, passed away at his home on Monday evening, September 28, 2020.
Born in Newburyport, August 3, 1969, he was one of three children of Thelma (Mowbray) Forget and the late Nelson Forget, and was a graduate of Whittier Vocational Technical School in Haverhill. Dale was an expert machinist, who could fix about everything that came before him. He had worked in several machine shops in Ipswich.
He was an avid fisherman, from freshwater to saltwater fishing, had an amazing eye for coloring, loved watching the Jeff Dunham show, and was always available to help with whatever needed to be done, be it for a friend or family member.
In addition to his mother, Thelma, he is survived by a brother, Dan Forget and wife Stacia of Calif.; a sister, Debra Elliott and husband Steven of Salisbury; four nephews, Dan Forget Jr., Steven Elliott, Jacob Elliott, and Michael Elliott; two nieces, Kaila Greene and Tiffany Souther, along with his significant other of 25 years, Rachel Forgetta, extended family and dear friends.
Due to restrictions regarding COVID-19, services will be held at a future time. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.
