The Lenovo Smart Tab M8 started as a Black Friday tablet deal, but it's holding on as a Cyber Monday tablet deal and while it is certainly no iPad Mini, it's much easier on your pockets than any Apple tablet.

When we reviewed the Lenovo Smart Tab M8, there were a few features that really sold us on this affordable tablet, such as Google Lens, which allows you to take photos of virtually anything around you and Google taps into its massive search-engine database to find you similar images. It's a neat little trick if you spot an unknown object or animal — Google Lens will gladly help you figure it out.
The Lenovo Smart Tab M8 also really highlights Google Assistant in its Ambient Mode setting, which allows this tablet to basically double as a smart display. With Ambient Mode, you can display a photo slideshow, manage smart home devices with Google Assistant, get email updates and more — all while it’s charging on its dock. And unlike other smart displays, you can then pick the Tab M8 up and take it with you.
The battery life on the Lenovo Smart Tab M8 is remarkable, it lasted up to 14 hours on a charge for us. Yes, you read correctly — 14 hours! The Smart Tab M8 runs on Android Pie (Android 9.0). It is lightweight and portable, sporting dimensions of 0.3 x 4.8 x 0.5 inches and a weight of 10.7 ounces.
