Our service men and women are still in harm’s way in active conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is important to remember at this time, and throughout the year, those men and women who have served or who are currently serving in our armed forces. And our hopes that next year they will be home with their families.
In the past 19 years this community has seen firsthand the cost of freedom and the sacrifices that many American families have endured. We thank those families for their sacrifices. Our community has felt the pain of losing some local heroes.
