Joe Judge: 'Let's forget about Christmas and focus on the Ravens' - Talk Radio 1210 WPHT

There is only one thing that will make Joe Judge feel merry and bright this holiday season, and that is a win against the Baltimore Ravens this week.

The New York Giants’ NFC East title hopes are hanging on by a thread and while everyone else is getting into the Christmas spirit, Judge wants his team focused solely on one thing: the Ravens.

“The message was real clear: We gotta get better ... We have the Ravens this weekend, it’s gonna take everything we have to beat them and they’re the only thing that matters to us right now,” Judge said on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football” show Wednesday. “With all due respect to Christmas, let’s forget about Christmas for a little while and focus on the Ravens.”

While Judge seems to have a one-track mind on football, he is not necessarily a Grinch by any means.

Prior to being asked about his message to the team, Judge spent most of the interview talking about how the Giants are partnering with the NYPD’s youth football program as part of a community outreach initiative to give at-risk youth children a chance to participate in organized sports.

Plus, he had a Christmas tree and nutcracker on full display in his office while conducting the interview.

Judge doesn’t hate Christmas, he just wants to put it on pause a little bit while visions of stopping Lamar Jackson dance in his head.
