If you live in Tuscaloosa’s District 1 or District 6, don’t forget today’s the day you can vote for your city council member.
In District 1, candidates Que Chandler and Matthew Wilson are battling for the council position.In the March 2 race, Wilson led with 608 votes to Chandler’s 447. The third candidate in the race, Katherine Waldon, garnered 319 votes.
Incumbent Phyllis Odom did not run for re-election
In District 6, two-term incumbent Eddie Pugh is facing off against retired Tuscaloosa Police Department Capt. John Faile.The March 2 election ended with Faile garnering 939 votes and Pugh with 860. The third candidate, Eric Gaines, won 572 votes.
