Hello from Baldwin.

How is everyone's week going? I hope everyone is having a good one.

The weather has been beautiful this week. Lower humidity and temperatures, but then the rain and humidity will be back soon.

This Sunday is Father's Day. For those of you that still have dads, don't forget to wish them a happy Father's Day. Visit with them if you can, send a card, or give them a call on the phone.

The Madison County Farmers Market is now open on Thursday at the EKU Campus in the Carter Building parking lot from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sourdough bread and rolls, sweet breads, jams, jellies, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, onions, fresh cut flowers, CBD oil, micro greens, scones and so much more.

Come on out and see what these farmers have this week.

Just a reminder to all that The Madison County Farmers Market will be open on Saturday from 9 a.m. 1 p.m. in the parking lot of White Oak Pond Church on the corner of Barnes Mill Road and Goggins Lane.

Things have been picking up at the market. Tell your friends about the Madison County Farmers Market so they can come also.

We will have beef and pork from Southern Cuts Meats; jams, jellies, sourdough bread and rolls, and sweet breads, fried apple pies from Isbell-Smith Farmers Fresh Produce; eggs, meats, freeze dried fruit and items, crafts and more from Eagle Brook Farm; fresh-picked cauliflower, kale and lots more from Baldwin Farms along with items from Paulines Produce, Wolf Gap Garden and Erica Suds with her homemade soaps. The Vegetable Man, Boone Creek Creamery, cheese and butter, and Cotton and Cone will also be there.

Stop by and meet our vendors and get to know them.

We will be following the CDC guidelines, including social distancing.

Many have had there COVID vaccines. Many haven't.

I pray it is enough to help.

Get vaccinated if you can. Hopefully it will bring this all to a end. Please pray for all that are sick with COVID or have been sick with it. Pray for those who have lost loved ones to COVID.

Pray that this vaccine that has been developed will help all of us. Pray for one another and may God bless each of those giving vaccinations to people.

Happy birthday wishes go out next week to William Earl Foster and Taylor Kelley (Sunday); Peggy Azbill (Tuesday); Debbie Foster, and my beautiful great, great niece Karmyn Couch, Karmyn will be celebrating her second birthday on Friday; Shannon Dupuy, Ben Keeton and Joan Renfro. I hope all of you have very happy birthdays and many more happy ones to come.

Happy Anniversary wishes go out next week to Ricky and Renee Azbill (Friday).

I hope you have a happy anniversary and many more happy ones to come.

Well, I guess that's all for now. Let me know if you hear any news. Just give me a call at 859-200-5824 or email me at pljones61.pj@gmail.com.
