If you’re a regular visitor to Groton Bank, you’ve most certainly seen Clancy, the Great Pyrenees dog, who lives next to Bill Memorial Library and is the library’s mascot.
At 120 pounds, with his snowy coat and friendly personality, he’s pretty hard to miss. And Clancy loves to explore the neighborhood with his owner Ken.
So, each Wednesday, from June 30 to July 28, the library will post a photo of Clancy on his wanderings to their Facebook page.
Participants who guess where he is in the city will be entered into a raffle to win gift certificates to local restaurants and shops.
“Where’s Clancy?” forms are available at the library or www.billmemorial.org. Completed forms must be returned to the library no later than Wednesday, Aug. 4.
Each returned form, one per person, will be entered into the drawing. Winners will be announced after Aug. 10. Call the library at (860) 445-0392 for more information.
